Everything you love is here
No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.
SO. Excuse the blurry and low q pics. I wanted to document the night, but I also just wanted to be present and enjoy the show. I also wanted to take more of Dustin but they were all just coming out terribly. Let’s call them abstract…
Last night, Erica (ericasbrain) and I went to the Heffron Drive show in Boston. It was amazing. We got Meet and Greet as a Chanukah gift to ourselves, and it was so nervewracking. It is impossible to look Kendall in the face. Also, he greeted me with a “Gobble, gobble” which was weird, and then we sort of bobbed and weaved into each other for a hug. I’m dumb and nervous so I responded with “Thanks…Happy Chanukah?” and went to hug Dustin. Er and I wanted to get the pictures together so we got two and switched positions. Kendall whipped out a Chanukah “candle” for the second. Clearly neither one of us knew how to react.
The guys are so nice and such good huggers.
The soundcheck was great. They played “Art of Moving On” acoustic and it was beautiful. The show, of course, was excellent. We were third row, pretty much dead center so there was much eye contact, pointing, and nervous smiles (on my part at least). It was great to see and hear them playing their own music. Also, after meeting Dustin for the first time, it’s safe to say he’s secured a spot on my list of favorite people.
After the show, we ended up at the same bar as Dustin and Logan. Started from the bottom, now we here, I guess?
Anyway, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or friend to share it with!
Last night at the Heffron Drive Boston show! Kendall whipped out his lighter for the last night of Hanukkah.
